Minutes – July 17th Meeting of TDW of Ellis County
Present were Helen Brock, Lynda Begnaud, Jerome Begnaud, Diane Melcher, Becky Kauffman, Jeanette Flores, Mary Lou Shipley, Emma Wilson, Bruce Wilson and Tina Williams
Attending by Zoom were Vivian Gibson, Phylis Dunn and Verlie McBroom

4:03 Helen mentioned there would be a recording of the essay by Brianna Brice available sometime in the next week or so
4:06 Tina Williams read the June minutes – no corrections were made
4:10 Lynda Begnaud read the Treasurer’s Report.
Motion was made by Lynda Begnaud to award mail out money (approx. $534)to Kelly Blackburn. by Mary Lou Shipley seconded. Agreed unanimously

August – Baby Shower for Hope Clinic
September – African American Hall of Fame Cookout
October – Afternoon Tea Party
November – Online Auction to start
December – Christmas Open House

February – Love Photo Contest
Emma Wilson made a motion to appoint Tina Williams as Event Chair, seconded by Bruce Wilson. Agreed unanimously.
A nominating Committee was formed for October elections, consisting of Lynda Begnaud as Chair, Mary Lous Shipley, Emma Wilson and Becky Kauffman.
Helen Brock mentioned lunch at Fingers to the Bone on Wednesday, 21 July at 11:30am for any interested members
Becky Kauffman made the motion to adjourn and was seconded by Emma Wilson.
